Shipments

A shipment is a parcel, or set of parcels, that Paxon sends to deliver an order, or part of it. You don't create shipments yourself: Paxon plans them as soon as an order comes in and stock is available. One order can lead to several shipments, for example when products ship from different warehouses or arrive later.

Use the endpoints in this section to follow a shipment from creation until it is handed over to the carrier, and to get its carrier and tracking details. GET v3/shipments returns the shipments of the last 90 days. To be notified of every step as it happens, subscribe to the shipment.* and tracking.updated.3 events instead of polling.

info

Note that Paxon attempts to make a shipment for each order as quickly and as early as possible. This may lead to situations where a planned shipment cannot be completed as expected and must be adjusted. Be aware that, up until the shipment reaches the status SHIPPED, all details in the shipment are subject to change.
